Updates! Updates!

Well my plan to be better at blogging didn't really get instegated hopefully I won't be so busy this school year and can do a little better. But here are some updates:

Buddy is a goofy dog!
I will never understand how Buddy can wiggle under a blanket and sleep with it but when we are gone he destroys them. I also don't understand why he doesn't want to sleep on his bed until I put his bed on ours to clean then he is happy as he could be just laying there.

May
So we had a few things going on in May. There was a party on the 3rd where we hung out with our friends. It was pretty fun. I had to take a picture of Buddy and Burgundy they were both frightened by the fireworks and yet curious at the same time.

We also went to Blackfoot, ID for our Anniversary weekend. I was pretty impressed with us. We have been married five years and we still like each other. We took the opportunity to go down to wolverine canyon and see the old ranch and where Grandpa Lowe was laid to rest last year. It was pretty nice day and a really good trip. The area was very green and the water was pretty high. It did bring back some memories so the weekend was all round nice. We had brought Buddy with us and Pooka and him have become a little bit better friends.

June
So in June my friend Mallory asked me to take an adventure on etching something I had never done before. She wanted a picture of her mom and dad's hous in Nantucket etched on to a glass platter. I was happy to try not knowing if I could. I think it turned out rather nice. I haven't heard whether they like it or not but it has certainly expanded my horizons.
June also was the month where Rusty went to Twin Falls, ID to work for a week and a half. Buddy and I missed him a lot. But the work got done and he got to go home.
July
So I think that we have kinda started a tradition on the 4th. Rusty and I have our friends over and this year. Rusty got an idea that he wanted to build a full size beer pong table. For those of you that don't know my husband loves the UCLA Bruins so once he was finished making the table he asked me to paint it for him in all its glory. It did turn out really nice. He was so excited about the endeavor that he took pictures throughout the process. We all hung out in the garage with Nick and his girlfriend, Mike, Reyes, and Rusty and I and played beer pong.
In mid July was the Jacobs Family Reunion in California. Rusty and I flew down on a Tuesday night and stayed until Sunday. We had a great time lounging by the pool, seeing Rusty's grandma Jo, eating and being merry. We did take advangtage of the weather in San Diego on Wednesday of that week. Old town and the marina were beautiful. Russ and Linda also through an open house for use on that Friday so that all of our friends and theirs could hang out. It was pretty fun. On Saturday of that week we went to the Reunion. It was at Doug and Judy's House and I tell you that house was amazing. The backyard had a beautifully designed pool and cambana. There was a lot of tequila being thrown around along with a lot people being thrown in the pool. If you had clothes on and not a suit that was your problem apparently.
August
Although it is only the first week of August a lot has happened. On July 31st my sister called me from Arizona to tell me she was in the States. I was thrilled to have my sister one flight closer to me. My parents and her both arrived the next morning in Boise to attend our cousin's wedding. The bride was beautiful and the groom handsome. We partied at the American Legion hall and I got the chance to see my Aunt Vicki and most of my cousins.
Note: I am still etching like fiend. Check out the flutes and the vase I gave Ross and Danielle
