December Bember-banana –Wanna boe ember December

So after the dust settled from the car accident Rusty and I tried to treat life as business as usual. Rusty was working at the ORE-IDA factory preparing for a big shut down. When the work is good the work is good. I was riding the bus every day from work back to Caldwell where Rusty would drop me off and pick me up. I didn’t mind too much because I didn’t have to be doing the driving I just didn’t have a ton of flexibility when it came to travel options and one morning I had to stand out in the snow with no cover for about twenty minutes.

I turned 28 years old this year on December 5th. I had indicated to Rusty and our friends that I preferred a quiet night of Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) and Singstar. So Jen picked me up from the bus in Meridian and we gathered at the Petersons. We ended up only doing the Singstar because we lost the cord for the XBOX in Rusty’s truck but I had a pretty good time as I think everyone else did too. Shaylor, Jackie and Rowdy, Jen, Stacie and Chris, Faith, and Rusty were all there.

Oh Christmas Tree,
So I decided to finally get my Christmas Décor out after my birthday this was the first time since not living in Blackfoot that I actually followed the Lowe rules. I was just to business with work and no car to have time to get everything out. I was pretty happy with the results.

Christmas Ornaments and Etching Gifts
This year I again offered up my etching skills to my co-workers want to give ornaments for Christmas. I also had a special order for four mugs with billiards clipart on them. I was pretty proud of the success they were.

Kayden Turns Two
For Kayden’s 2nd birthday Rusty and I went over to the Steihl’s Clubhouse located in their apartment complex. It was pretty fun to watch Kayden eating the cake and opening the presents. I think he had started to figure out how that whole present thing works. It was very fascinating.
For Christmas day we stayed in Boise this was due to Rusty working 7 12 hour shifts the week of Christmas and after we made our Christmas a quiet one at home. We went over to the Peterson’s house for Christmas dinner which was yummy. I brought rolls and a few pies. It was nice to just relax and be with friends. I was bummed we didn’t get to see my parents but there is always time this summer. The day after Christmas I flew to Reno and picked up the car and then I went back to work during the Christmas break. I did get a week off where I got a lot of around the house things done.
